Welcome to my treasure/metal detecting holiday website. This is serious hunting for the dedicated detectorist where you decide where to hunt and not a 'sheep herding' event. Groups are generally between 3 to 6 guys who pick from over 200 available fields. We do not detect on stubble as that 'sucks' but have persmission to detect on crops right the way through the season. There is lots of information scattered about the site to do with all the finds the guys have made and the history behind them, hopefully this site map page will help you with finding the info you are after. A good start is to click on the Colchester link and read about the history of Colchester, the oldest recorded town in Britain and the Roman Capital.
