Guess the number of buttons found throughout the season

Another free weeks trip again as the prize for this year new forum comp. 2011/12 season

We have so far counted over the years for a comp, gold, hammered silver, milled silver, coppers, ancient coins and the results have been fascinating.

This year it is a monster, monster, monster count - buttons

How do you guess the numbers of buttons when loads are usually thrown in the ditch ?

This year I will supply plastic buckets to all Barn leaders to keep in their bus for just those buttons you want to chuck. I will have other separate buckets in each of the full board houses for trash buttons.

I will empty these buckets constantly during the week and add up all the buttons as we so we get a running total on the forum for trash buttons and then another total building up as I do the exports later with buttons guys want to take home.

This will be a wide open guess as there must be thousands of 4 holers on their own.

This will be a lot more work for me but it will be fascinating to see just how many pesky buttons we dig in a season.
